As an eligible member of the US forces under NATO SOFA you can purchase services like moving tax-free with VAT forms from your VAT Office – and we accept them. Your invoice is then issued without the 19% German VAT. Only two things really matter: the net amount of your order, and the timing of the form.
For orders up to €2,499.99 net, the standard NF1 form is all you need. You pick up a valid NF1 at your VAT Office and hand it to us – done. One rule we can't bend: the form has to be in our hands before we confirm your order. It doesn't work retroactively.
From €2,500 net, the VAT Office issues an NF2 instead – and only on the basis of a written cost estimate before any contract is signed. That's exactly what our free quote is: get it by email, take it to your VAT Office, come back with the NF2, and we confirm your move.

A PCS – Permanent Change of Station – usually breaks into two piles. One is the official household goods shipment. The other is everything you end up organizing yourself, and that includes a PPM: a Personally Procured Move, what most people around here still call a DITY. We are a German moving company in Weiden, not a carrier for the U.S. forces. So we work the second pile, and we would rather draw that line ourselves than have you find it later.
Arranged through your transportation office and moved by the carriers it has under contract. We are not DoD-approved, we are not a TSP, and we have no contract with the U.S. forces – and we are not going to word it so that it sounds like we do. For that shipment your transportation office is the address, not us.
A PPM is your move, run on your terms. Underneath the paperwork it is ordinary moving work: a crew, a truck, three flights of stairs, a drive across Bavaria. That part we do – with a fixed price in writing and an invoice you can file. Same for the furniture you bought here, the things going into storage, and the apartment you have to hand back clean.
Most of this work is off-post. Out of Netzaberg housing into a rental in Eschenbach, from an apartment in Vilseck into a house in Pressath, or the other way round when the next family rotates in. Short drives. Rarely simple ones – the stairwells in these villages were not built with a sectional couch in mind, and plenty of them have no elevator at all.
Home base is Weiden, about 20 minutes from Tower Barracks and Rose Barracks. For a move in Grafenwoehr or Vilseck we can be at your door for the free walk-through in days, not weeks – and we know which streets in Netzaberg a 3.5-tonne truck actually fits down.
German landlords take the final walk-through seriously, and the housing office is no softer. We empty the apartment, clean it to the level you booked – broom-clean or a full deep clean – and haul off whatever is not coming with you, disposed of properly with paperwork if you need it.
You talk to us in English – quote, WhatsApp, moving day. Everything that has to happen in German, we do ourselves: the call to the landlord, the property manager wanting the handover date in writing, the permit for the no-parking zone in front of your building.

We come by, look at what's actually moving, and confirm your fixed price. If there's less than you entered, the price goes down – it works both ways.
The crew shows up on time with our own trucks, speaks English, and the price is exactly what we agreed on. That's the whole point of a fixed price.
Afterwards you get a proper German invoice, itemised line by line. That is the paper your finance office or your landlord will ask you for. If your claim needs a particular detail on it, say so before moving day – afterwards we can only put down what actually happened.

No. Your official PCS household goods shipment runs through your transportation office and its contracted carriers – we do not touch that. What we handle is everything outside that shipment: moving off-post, local and Germany-wide moves of things you own here, furniture pickups, junk removal, storage, and move-out cleaning.
Yes. Broom-clean or a full deep clean – floors, bathroom, kitchen – depending on what your landlord or the housing office expects at the final walk-through. The cleaning shows up as its own line item in your quote, so you know the cost before you book.

Yes. You get a German invoice with the moving date, both addresses, our company details, and every service on its own line – carrying, packing, cleaning, disposal, whatever was actually part of the job. That is the document you hand in. What we cannot tell you is what your finance office will accept for a PPM claim, because those requirements are theirs and they change. Ask them what they need on paper, tell us before moving day, and you get a straight yes or no on whether we can put it there.
